Early life and career:

His next movie was Sye, which is based on the game of rugby and how the hero uses rugby to solve the problems his college is facing. The film had a nail biting rugby match at the climax which includes many artists. It was a first-of-its-kind movie in Tollywood based, in that it was based on a game. This movie was also the first instance of Rajamouli collaborating with Senthil Kumar and in their first stint, the aerial shots and the way the rugby match was shot was very well appreciated.[who?] Rajamouli acted in a brief role in the introduction scene of comedian Venu Madhav in this movie Sye.Rajamouli was born to Telugu film writer and director, V. Vijayendra Prasad. Rajamouli directed tele-serials under the guidance of K. Raghavendra Rao. His first gig in cinema was Student No. 1. His first shot, at Telugu films was Student No.1 which was a big hit in 2001. It took two long years for Rajamouli to come up with his second blockbuster filmflick Simhadri. With his next flick Chatrapathi, Rajamouli was again at his best, evoking emotions with this attempt. The music of M. M. Keeravani and cinematography by Senthil Kumar added to the films success. In his next stint Vikramarkudu, Rajamouli worked with Raviteja, who essays a dual role of an honest cop as well as a small-time-crook-turned-vigilante. The movie was a big success and was remade into Hindi as Rowdy Rathore by Prabhu Deva with Akshay kumar in the lead. Vikramarkudu was remade into Tamil as Siruthai with Karthi and in kannada as Veera Madakari with Kicha Sudeep He then directed Yamadonga, a socio-fantasy film praised by critics. What was coming next was the biggest film in Telugu Cinema of the time, Magadheera starring Ram charan teja, which stood as one of the biggest commercial successes of the time in Telugu Cinema.[3] He has won the Nandi Award for Best Director and Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu for the film. This film also won the National Film Award for Best Choreography.

His comedy thriller film titled Maryada Ramanna (2010) has comedian Sunil as male lead. This was the biggest hit of that year. Coincidentally, this movie is remade in Hindi as "Son of Sardar" and is due to be released.

His next film Eega which released in Telugu and Tamil on July 6 is a fictional revenge film with having spent a major part for Visual effects (VFX).In which kiccha sudeep had done a mojor role, which got a good critics too. Received positive reviews from audience and critics as well.
